you should have turned round and said that to her!

LobstersLass · 29/01/2009 13:48

That's outrageous. The cheeky cow! Which store is this?

onager · 29/01/2009 13:50

No way is that right. If you hadn't noticed it would technically be theft/fraud whatever. It doesn't matter how much it is.

fishie · 29/01/2009 13:51

Y
ANBU - tell us which shop it was so we can beware

tumtumtetum · 29/01/2009 14:28

Which shop?

Bang out of order.

BrownSuga · 29/01/2009 14:42

They do that at GAP over here (Canada) but at least they have the courtesy of asking first.

rubyslippers · 29/01/2009 14:45

as Fishie says that is illegal

you have to be able to "opt out"

complain - something like this can affect the PR for both the store and the charity

Tamarto · 29/01/2009 14:50

I've been asked before but never had it done without me knowing, i'd have been extremly annoyed and if i had heard her say something like that would have had to have gone back for words. YANBU
