I've been invited for a few drinks at a friend's house tomorrow night. I'll probably only be out for a few hours and won't be getting drunk. DD has a cough and cold and is teething, so she's a bit unsettled at night. DP has also been working a lot lately. I've asked him if he minded and he was fine with me going but AIBU?

Thanks I hardly ever go out, last time was well before Christmas I think. I feel a bit bad though in case DD needs me and gives DP a hard time. I am well in the motherhood = guilt mindset
