To expect my new curtains from IKEA to have the tape sewn in the right way round?

Apologies for flagrant abuse of AIBU section.

tape sewn in backwards on new curtains so I can't get hooks in.
Anyone else has this?
Store not THAT near me so will have to waste a half day to exchange.

Can you ring them and get them to post a new pair to you - and also pay for your return postage?

ring them. friends bought a wooden high chair and one piece was warped. they posted out a whole new chair!

I've had curtains with tape the wrong way round... but I think they may have been BhS ones. Very annoying.

Moon, eapecially as the thought crossed my mind it might actually involve less time to remove the tape and turn in round and stitch it the right way!

I phoned today . I have to return them in person.
