Clearblue Digital is the best I think . Please do come back and let us know.

SheSellsSeashellsByTheSeashore · 21/01/2009 12:11

He will accuse of you of cheating, of course he will, even the most reasonable man would. He will have the test. He will be shown to be able to get you pg. He will grovel like there is no tomorrow.

Why are you scared? Is he unreasonable? Will he refuse the test? Are you sure you have not cheated? Will he/could he be violent? Are you worried about what you are going to re the pregnancy?

But there is still a tiny failure rate. Occasionally, men who have had vasectomies find they have sired a child. This is because the tubing has joined up again.

Lilyloo · 21/01/2009 12:12

namechanged well done
one step at a time

Fimbo · 21/01/2009 12:13

Is vasectomy 100 per cent effective against pregnancy?

Vasectomy is not 100 per cent effective. Occasionally, pregnancies do happen. In Britain, estimates are that one in every 2000 vasectomies fails. This generally isn?t anybody?s fault.

Buda · 21/01/2009 12:15

I don't think anything is 100% except perhaps hysterectomy and or ovaries removed. Or being married to my DP but that is another story.

Good luck.

SheSellsSeashellsByTheSeashore · 21/01/2009 12:16

Namechange. You might not have to choose between them. Your DP maybe be more supportive than you think.

Please don't upset yourself before you speak to him.

Good luck.

NewAppallingBeginning · 21/01/2009 12:19

Good luck.

Get the test and some chocolate.

earlynite · 21/01/2009 12:25

Happened to a friend of mine. Not impossible. Don't worry do a test

shatteredmumsrus · 21/01/2009 12:25

good luck honey xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Judy1234 · 21/01/2009 12:53

A baby is never a bad thing and it can even be tested whilst you're pregnant these days as to the father. Plenty of times the V does not work by the way.

LadyPinkOfPinkerton · 21/01/2009 12:58

Just spotted this thread. Good luck!

Blondie79 · 21/01/2009 13:00

Shesells - just wanted to add that he may not accuse the OP of cheating. My DH never did with me - he is a very reasonable man but it is more than that.

SheSellsSeashellsByTheSeashore · 21/01/2009 13:02

Sorry, I don't have much faith in men atm! Maybe he won't but she should be prepared for it, just incase.

MrsMagooo · 21/01/2009 13:04

Good luck Namchanged - everyone else is right - test first then take it from there lovely.

DP may suprise you & be very supportive - or he may go all blokely & accuse you of cheating - if he does then he will be proven wrong & will spent the rest of eternity in your debt for doubting you.

Oh Good Luck to you.

Please let us know how you get on

xx

Stayingsunnygirl · 21/01/2009 13:08

Fingers crossed for you, namechanged.

Astarte · 21/01/2009 13:13

I agree, take the test and see where to go from there.

3 weeks late could be for a whole host of reasons;
Stress, illness, getting over Christmas or family crisis. All those things can delay ovulation massively and consequently a period.

Our bodies are strange things at times. Hopefully you'll get the answer you want. Will check back in later for your result.

If you are pg and 3 weeks late, then I doubt very much you'll need a sensitive test or FMU for that matter. It'll probably go +ve before it hits the control window

NewAppallingBeginning · 21/01/2009 13:46

Have you managed to get to the shop?
