to be furious that DPs ex-wife is telling her mates I am pg?

Cos I bloody am

The only reason she knows is that DD1 overheard a conversation between DP and I, so we agreed to tell DDs and DSD on a 'special secret' basis. This is what we have in our family for things which must ABSOLUTELY not be discussed with anyone (birthday presents/surprises etc).

We felt that we both had to tell our ex partners as a matter of politeness.

I have since found out that DPs ex has been gobbing off to all her friends and family (presumably in a sneery way) that I am pg.

WE haven't told anyone other than our parents and siblings.

Aaaargh

Would tell XW before kids but my DD will tell them as soon as she sees them.

Scary!

Then I will be ringing round all my friends, and that'll be so exciting.

My DH's ex went absolutely spare when we told her we were pregnant with DD1, completely round the twist....demanding details of what contraception we'd been using . We found out later that she was going through IVF with her new DH and we had been married only days when we got PG.

With both pregnancies we have told her first and decided together when to tell DSD, which led to me breathing in for 2 months with our DD2 so as not to upset her during her exams . She has been bitchy and unreasonable at times but I try not to let it bother me....very hard

YANBU to be angry but perhaps giving her time to compose herself before telling her DC is best?

dh exw told pils about my pregnancy before i did and everyone else ,too to be honest at the time i did think she was trying to steal my thunder a bit, but now i know she was just excited about new siblings for her dc, she even ended up having my 3 kids(exh's)to stay when i went into labour, and kept them for a fortnight, after so i could have a rest.the kids call her "auntie X" shes an absolute star, and i cant thank her enough for what shes done for us.
