DS (8) came home from school yesterday and said "mum, can I do ninja lessons?" so I laughed and said "why would you want to do that??" so he said....

"My friends have been playing a game called 'knock off ninja' on the way home from school and they said its really fun!

pmsl, he'd misheard ginger, for ninja.

I then got him to repeat his request to DH, then to my mum...and I've been laughing about it since

I also want to know what knock off ginger is; I have never heard of it, but think knock off ninja sounds like a plausible little boys' game.

Oh come on! he thinks it's funny now that he knows the real name!

Knock of Ginger is knocking on people's doors and running away. He will NOT be taking part! I just thought his confusion was funny.

If you are sure the confusion is funny, why did you post on AIBU?
