There I was, belting out "Welcome to The Jungle" and "Knocking On Heaven's Door" a la Axl Rose in the way that used to make DS fall about laughing, when he fixes me with a tired look, says "No" in exactly the same tone of voice as the "Computer says no...." drudge in "Little Britain", grabs his cheap Cbeebies magazine freebie xylophone, starts bashing it and insists i sing "Row Row Row Your Poxy Boat".
The (Russell Brand style flourish) SWINE!!!!!

LOL... I got told off by my DT charges, also 2, for singing Total Eclipse of the Heart while washing them at bath time ("turn around.." etc!). Don't know if it was the song or my singing!

It's peer pressure, he wants to be down with the kids, your stuff is too old and dated.

Real musical troubles start with school. On Tuesday DS was singing "Jesus so loved the world that he gave his only son" and asked "How does the rest of it go Mummy?". How would I know? I'm an atheist.
