To expect people to pick up their dogs mess????!!!!!!

Got back from collecting DD from nursery, managed to avoid the trillion piles of dog sht on the way, only to get home & find yet another* pile of dog crap on my driveway

Why oh why do people not pick up their dogs mess FFS?

And yes, I am a dog owner myself & whenever I take him for a walk I stuff my pockets with nappy sacks to clear up after him!! (And no it wasn't my own dog that had popped on the driveway )

God I hate this. I always glare at people who are letting their dog poo on the pavement and have no plastic bag or anything to hand. Sometimes they surprise me and whip one out of their pocket and I have to hastily change my expression.

I know exactly what you mean, it's revolting!!! DH was a good chap and picked up another dog turd which was in the middle of the pavement whilst walking our dog

YANBU - the footpaths are a nightmare to navigate with a pram, it's disgusting

Glad it's not just me!

I keep my pram in the house & had to hose the wheels the other day as the pavement was littered with dog poop & unavoidable

I hate it when people pick up the poo in a plastic bag then tie it to a feckin tree??? Or leave the bag on a wall...

What is the point of that? If you have bothered to take a bag and pick it up why leave the parcel lying around for someones LO to pick up?

I don't get that either - I either pop mine in the red dog poop bin or tie it to the dog lead & put in the outside bin when I get home!!

I know its not nice walking around dangling a bag of poo from your little finger but even so...I don't know about other dogs but mine always goes within the first five mins of a walk so I always scoop and bin before we get too far from home.
How hard is it FGS?

some dog-walking friends of mine pick up the shit in a poop bag and then throw it in the undergrowth !!!

They look at me like I'm the stupid one when I point out that not only is the shit still a problem, but there are now plastic bags littering the countryside !!!!

YANBU - My pockets are alway full of bags for my dog/child/whatever...

Had an awful incident in the playground recently when son fell over in a human poo some lovely skank mum had just left there, for some reason I found this so much worse!!

I never leave without clearing up my dog's mess even if I have to find a crisp packet or newspaper if I'm out of bags.

On this note my dog keeps doing something I call the "stealth poo" recently. He looks like he is doing one, but when I go to the square footage I know it should be in I cannot find it no matter how long I look. I can't work out if he is mocking me, or constipated... Anyone else have this?

This really bugs me to, the path to my DD's school is grim, why do dog owners let their dog's do it by the school gates?

Yes I am a dog owner too, every coat I own is stuffed with blinken Nappy bags!!

I was just thinking the same thing this morning walking into town. Our street is like dog shit alley!! I can only thank god i dont have treads on my buggy wheels!

Maybe the hanging from a tree is to pick it up on the way back as they're going out and back the same way? I would leave mine in an obvious place to collect on my way back if I was going to go past it on my way home.
