To kick off because DP rings me and tells me he is on way home and then.........

When i ring him about something else, 2 hours later, expecting him to say he is just about home, he tells me that he has gone to have lunch and help his mate out?

So i kick off and phone him ten milliontimes and behave like a brat, and end up having to apologise because i look like one of those women who wont let their man do fuck all.

My point being, if he changed his mind about what he was doing, the considerate thing to do would be to ring me so i could adjust my plans accordingly.

do you always react like that though?
If he had rang and told you his plans would you still have screamed at him?
Maybe he knows your reaction and that's why he didn't phone?

YANBU - you could be me!! It's a pain over-reacting though, 'cos you end up feeling in the wrong.

Next time it's obvious he's not coming back just go out...

Compo - That would have been something i would have done a while back, but usually a lot more laid back lately. No, i wouldn't have screamed at him - he said he tried to ring but he should have just texted me. To be honest, if he hadn't of rung me and said, "im on my way home now" then i wouldn't have been bothered as i wasn't expecting him home early anyway.

But yes, its a pain over reacting, because he was inconsiderate and i was the one who ended up apologising.
