My ds is 12 he is profoundly deaf and has learning difficulties. He is entitled to a disabled railcard and I applied for one for the first time a few years ago. The first year it was sent to Mr Jenkins... the second year the man i spoke to on the phone suggested that he be called Master in case people thought i was borrowing a relatives card. This year i thought id apply online but was unable to as the only choices were Mr Mrs Miss Ms or Dr.........surely the Master option should have been there too? I had to ring up and have a lady do it manually over the phone and have her write Master on the pass! I just think it would be nice to keep him as a Master till he actually has to be a Mr in a few years time... am i being old fashioned?

I love old fashioned things and feel sad when my 7 year old gets things addressed to Mr. Master all the way.

Bloss - I once had to book a series of hotel rooms and the options were hilarious so everyone was booked in as Lord, Lady, Prince, Duke, Duchess, Colonel, Archbishop, etc - was very funny when they arrived and were all being address like that by the staff! But seriously it was like a Days In or somewhere that those types of people would never stay!

I address all mail to little cousins etc as Miss or Master. Its the correct title to use.
Bloss - I too have been tempted to call myself Lady so and so. I have alwys wondered if it is illegal to do so?
