to have a bath now

when the boiler has only just come on, it turned itself off and DH had to tweak it. I was ill all day yesterday and could hardly stand up, flu type thing. DH just said "you're not having a bath now, are you, no-one can use the bathroom then, it's annoying" S AIBU?

Ask if anyone needs the bathroom, let them all have a wee or whatever, then go have your bath.

bath is running, I normally do ask if anyone needs the loo before I go in. I had one of those speechless moments when he said it, I just froze and didn't even breathe! I'm off to enjoy!!!

Considering you have been ill, your DH is just being a meanie. I am sure he could go to the loo and wait for another half an hour before needing the bathroom again!

YANBU. If you were ill yesterday, then sometimes it feels really good to have a good soak/wash when you feel better, gives a boost!

why wouldn't anyone be able to use the bathroom when you are in the bath?

they can if they want, I never lock the door! and they have done before Lovely bath, I enjoyed that!! BTW DH is still in bed and will no doubt moan when I go in and dry my hair. Some people just are not morning people are they
