silly thread i already know but it is annoying me.

dh bought some nappies, made in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the shell is v. plasticky. no, it is plastic. now dd's poo has gone up her back - and it was more of a wet fart poot than a poo as poos go.

Just bin them if they are rally vile or pass them on to someone in need.

MerryMadMarg · 29/12/2008 09:28

Yuck, they sound like the nappies that Malaysian airlines provided for us when we flew with them, vile things. Just ditch them, life's too short!!!

MrsJamin · 29/12/2008 09:31

there's probably a place (usually run by churches or faith groups) in your town which collects things (like furniture) to help poor people to start up a home, etc. I'd give it to them and they could distribute it to anyone with a baby.

lljkk · 29/12/2008 09:32

Freecycle them.

ninedragons · 29/12/2008 09:41

God, as if life as a woman in Saudi Arabia wasn't shit enough already, apparently they have to deal with poo-repellent nappies as well.

Chuck them.

foxytocin · 29/12/2008 11:38

well i've had enough of them. now suspicious that they are giving dd2 a bum rash. Pampers did that to dd1 so .

MrsJamin, what makes you think that poor people would benefit from uncomfortable nappies that direct poo up the baby's back?

VirginBoffinMum · 29/12/2008 14:46

Grow mustard and cress on them?????

compo · 29/12/2008 14:46

yuk!

Flihgtattendant · 29/12/2008 14:47

Oh we had some of these, they allow no air flow, gave ds1 nappy rash immediately.

I kept mine, but kept them in the back of the car and in odd bags and stuff and under ht ebuggy. They were only any use in a dire emergency but you know when you are really desperate, haven't even got a tissue on you and your child has done a big poo?
You'll be glad there's a crappy plastic nappy in the boot

foxytocin · 29/12/2008 15:35

roffle at FA and VBM!

you've made my day.

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/12/2008 15:55

silly dh

i would chuck in car boot and use them as vbm said for emergabices or give to friends for their children if they need a nanny

Flihgtattendant · 29/12/2008 16:02

VBM's idea is better than mine

Quote of the week perhaps?

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/12/2008 16:03

nappy not nanny
