Pulled 3 angles halos off, poked a 6month old with his foam crock, pulled the christmas tree decorations off and finally knock a very very posh mummy with very very well behaved children, contact lens out??

I was then told to "take that baby out!" by the very posh mummy.

I tried sooooooo hard to keep him still on my lap but he was VERY HAPPY and just couldn't contain himself. Feeling very

Christmas is for everyone, especially children. I hope you didn't take him out?

loveingigglypiggly · 24/12/2008 19:27

You will remember this Christmas for years to come

Just like I fondly remember the year our minister's son attempted to roast his toy lamb over the candles on the advent ring.

loveingigglypiggly · 24/12/2008 19:36

yummmmmmmmy roast lamb!!

Why is it everyone else has such well behaved shephards and angles and kings........maybe at 13 months he should have been at home??

Someone tell me, what I should have done! Should I pin him to my knees and teach him to be still??? Take him out????

Got to be honest (being a mum of an extra wriggly 3-days-away-from-being-a-one-year-old, I would have taken him out...

I do feel for you, it does feel like everyone is going all judgy-pants on you.

Hope she is not a MNer, you can imagine her doing an AIBU on why wouldn't that woman take out her clearly out-of-control devil child...

thisisyesterday · 24/12/2008 20:48

hmm i dunno, my 13 month is very much like that! i have to say he would have probably been strapped into a pushchair, or kept busy with rice cakes or something like that.

loveingigglypiggly · 24/12/2008 20:56

I think the pushchair and rice cakes would have been a better idea! Maybe I was expecting a bit much?! He is a cute devil BoucingTinsel!

It was right on the nose too and it bloody hurt! I shouted out when he did it and took the phone off him, he burst into tears and went to daddy for a cuddle
Then I had to cuddle him as well. He is so very cute though (as you can see from the pix on my profile )

VirginBoffinMum · 24/12/2008 21:24

What an adorable piglet he was, Piggly. Bring him over - he sounds good fun.
