pick up a bloody christmas card which had no bloody stamp on which meant I had to pay 27 postage and a £1 handling fee grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
and I though the card would be from some doddery old relly but it was from from my dozy SIL
Like there is not enough to be doing at this time of year !

It is very silly My aunty sent me something and it was 2p short of the postage I had to pay the 2p and the £1

If you don't go to pick it up they just deliver it anyway a couple of days later.

we had a large card the other day with a normal stamp on it and no surcharge etc...must have friendly postie, or too busy to care?

SIL probably genuinely forget, these things happen (make a mental note to spend £1.27 less than you usually would on her gift next year LOL)

Frustrating isn't it? When I had a newborn work kindly sent my payslip, unfortunately in an envelope a fraction too large for standard postage...I had to pay the £1 fee plus a whole six pence
