to shamelessly use this section of the board for recomendations because it has the most traffic? basically you could be waiting days for a rsponse in the music section and i'm making christmas playlists now and am drawing a blank after the usual suspects.

alternative/rock songs will be much appreciated.

yeah i think i have most of the ones you would automaticaly think of. Bowie,slade,wizzard,shaking stevens,the ramones etc.
it's other peoples little known gems that i'm looking for. maybe a few rock bands covers of old christmas songs or something.
