You were just thinking of him, can't you just see his smiling face, knowing you are at home doing wifey, homey things

ChristmasDisco · 16/12/2008 12:04

I've just been asked how much it cost to send a parcel. I said £7... but never got the word teen out, so he thinks it was £7 and not £17. Who am I to correct him

ComeOVeneer · 16/12/2008 12:13

Good job he is out tonight for a xmas do and will be staying at his parents then going straight to wok so I have until he gets home tomorrow evening to ensure that I make it true

DH and I have this unspoken understanding. We IM eahc other to say we are doing work, when we both know that we are MNing/watching anime etc

Everybody is happy this way

nickytinseltimes · 16/12/2008 12:29

Seems reasonable.

I am doing laundry right now - well, it's in the machine, so that'll do for me.

ComeOVeneer · 16/12/2008 12:34

Ah ggod point nicky, the dishwahser was running at the time of call so I guess that could be seen as housework!

MerryMadMarg · 16/12/2008 12:35

nickytinseltime - I'm busy like that at the moment too! Washing machine's going, dishwasher's going, soon the dryer will be on, it's just work, work, work!!!

nickytinseltimes · 16/12/2008 12:36

Yes, it's exhausting.

IcedAgeOfXmas · 16/12/2008 12:37

You should have told him you were laying on the grass outside thinking of him. But a bird pooed on you so you had to come in and get a shower.

ComeOVeneer · 16/12/2008 12:45

LOL then he would know I was lying, it is bl**dy freezing here today.

OP posts:
IcedAgeOfXmas · 16/12/2008 12:49

Yes its really cold here too. I'd just say "its ok, sweets. I've taken all of your clothes out of the wardrobe and wrapped myself in them to keep warm. Just because they smell of you " Obviously the extra clothes help protect against the cat poo and stuff too.
