She has achondroplasia, is a person of short stature...

just like my ds, and so I find her very inspirational. Look forward to telling ds all about her when he's a bit bigger!

I saw footage of her return to school after the Olympics - it was lovely. All her schoolmates were VERY proud of her

I was delighted.She seems a very level headed and mature 13 year old,a lovely girl.I bet her parents are EXTREMELY proud.

She trains at the pool where my DCs have swimming lessons and she always seems friendly and happy, before and after her Olympics success. My DD2 really admires her.
