I am on a 2 week course of augmentin, 2 cardboard boxes, 6 bubble strips in individual foils for 42 tablets. Also collected 84 benedryl - 7 boxes, 7 bubble strips and ventolin - box with brand new puffer

What happened to one little pot with safety lid and a new cannister for the ventolin?? apart from the boxes, none of it is recycable (sp)

When did the little brown pots stop?

Welcome to environmental hell, my dear. I've been getting a bit lonely here. I am long term sick and I swear half my cardboard waste is medical packaging . You forgot to mention the little drying sachet in the augmentin foil wraps .

The pots stopped for nearly all medicines coz tony blair decided that medicines should come in 'patient packs' so 1 box should either equal one months supply or 1 course of treatment.
a lot easier imho, but i'm a pharmacist so i don't have to count out loads of tablets now! some stuff does still come in pots, but not many.
