that ex dh has gone and bought a fur real kitten for dd, when i had already bought her a fur real cat two months ago, which i had to scrimp for.

thisis the ex dh who has only just come back into her life inthe last 2 months.

I saw him on tuesday and he asked me if i had got her a fur real toy , and i said i had. apparently she wrote it down on her xmas list at hers the other week. So he asked me tues, but then rang today to ask if there was anything else i could think of for another family member to get her. Thats when he said 'oh i got her the fur real kitten '

i am really , as he gets to do hie father xmas thing the day before xmas and when it comes to opening mine, although i know she wil love it, she wil have already got soemthing similar.

tit.

MincePirateCat · 11/12/2008 13:42

You could tell her it's because she's been extra good she's getting two! She'll probably be delighted, assuming they're slightly different from each other. That's so rude though, to go ahead and buy it without asking you.

MincePirateCat · 11/12/2008 14:23

yes, thing is he bought it after we'd discussed the fact i had bought one. Fair enought, i am thankful he looked at her list and is actually doing soemthing for her.

mine's bigger tho !!!

thanks for replying

Well yours can be the mother cat and his can be the kitten. She might not be as excited to get two at the time but when she has friends over they can play with one each instead of arguing over who gets it, and it will be more fun with two.

I would be annoyed too though so YANBU.

MincePirateCat · 11/12/2008 14:27

madam, thats exactly what she'll do!! she is cat cat mad. her whole life revolves around cats, and has done for 3 yrs now.

thanks

maybe he thought they would be a good match (in a mans reasoning sort of way)

thenewme · 11/12/2008 14:43

I see where you are coming from. She will get his first which will dilite the excitement of getting the one you have bought.

Ask him why he is being such a dick, or give her yours early.

MadamDeathstarOverBethlehem · 11/12/2008 17:14

If she is cat mad then I wouldn't worry about it.

I am a Lego fanatic getting two of the same set would not be a problem at all if it was the one I wanted. I would just expand the construction to twice the size.
