I would. - but I imagine you'll need some kind of proof. How do you know? Has he told you so/you deal with his payroll etc

Don't know what others will say though.

YANBU - report him!

SheSellsSeashellsByTheSeashore · 11/12/2008 11:22

Is it my exp? Is that how he managed to get away with not paying for 5 years?

YANBU unless you don't report him. Not reporting him would be VVVVV unreasonable. Speaking as some one still waiting for her csa money.

mumblechum · 11/12/2008 11:24

I'd report him without a second thought. If you know about the payroll thing, do you know his NI number & date of birth? I'd pass that on in support.

themoon66 · 11/12/2008 11:26

Report him... and all his names.

PeriodicalCicada · 11/12/2008 11:28

He may be able to change his name but he won't be able to change his NI number, which is how CSA wil identify him - I would report him if I were you.

Divineintervention · 11/12/2008 11:31

Thanks, I thought I would anyway!! But I was a little unsure as to how anyone was able to do this, defraud I mean.

Inland Revenue can check NI contributions for any person via their NI number. Even if he's changing his name on payroll, the tax/NI will still show up oh his personal record - try the benefit fraud hotline (0800 854 440) maybe, they might not be able to help as it's not fraud per se but they should be able to advise you.

You can call the csa direct to report him.
