To be annoyed dd's whole school ARE NOT having any kind of Christmas party becuase the 'Head' wants to keep things "low key"??

was only made aware of this this morn, dd has been getting excited wondering when it will be..was allso told that there is one class in the entire school (6/7 yr olds) that ARE NOT involved in any way in the school nativity or the carol show they put on for the older ones last week???

HOWEVER..the 'head' was quick to get us to bring bottles/chocolates/donations/gifts/toys and hot dogs in for the school feit for next
week!

Would i be being unreasonable to ring school and ask WHY they are not celebrating Christmas with a party this year????
I cant ask about the class being left out of playa s not my dd's class and none of my business id guess!?

sounds odd to me. my Dd school, which is non denominational, has a Christmas service, parties for each class, a christmas lunch and a whole school pantomine
