I discovered last night that DH had signed up for an account with a porn website.

This annoyed me for a number of reasons:

1. He did it on the computer that the children use and it's now possible that we get loads of porn spam coming in.

2. Why pay for it when it's pretty easy to access free.

3. Who needs porn when they've got me

4. I don't want it purchased on MY email address - fine (within reason) if he did it on his own computer (not that he's got one though) and via his own accounts.

So anyway this PM I've been googling the billing company and it seems they run something of a credit card scam.

AIBU to let him find this out himself in time when he sees his next bill and see they've fleeced him to serve him right?

i would tell him. after all, a big debt will affect both of you right??? you'd rather he was spending the money on you :D

From what I can tell it's only about £10 a month, so a couple of months won't hurt...

Hmm, but is a tenner all they'll take? If they are scammers they could sell his details on and you would get mightily fleeced...

Does he know that you know about the porn site?

If not, it would be fun to just turn to him over coffee (when kids not around) and say

"Hope you are enjoying your porn darling, but I thought you should know that X are credit card scammers, there was an article about how they are ripping people off. More toast?"

well quite. and beware if you have dial-up and not broadband (does anyone still ahve dial-up???)
what they used to do is make you download some stuff, then it'd use it to automatically dial-up through their system when you turn pc on, at MASSIVE cost to you

You should definitely tell him - why would you want your DH to lose a lot of money that he should be spending on you as a thank-you for stopping him getting scammed?

id tell him, then laugh at it, especially him trying to hide what hes "accidentally" done, (looking for oasis and finding porn????? what did he google???) pmsl ,sorry, pmsl some more!
