tjacksonpfc · 10/12/2008 13:21

i have to have the toffee ones as i tell my dcs they pull childrens baby teeth out and you cant have them till you get your big teeth with them only being 3-4 think i got a while for this to carry on yet how evil are we

bellaBuonNatalevita · 10/12/2008 13:23

save me the purple ones!

ChristmasCakeYerbouti · 10/12/2008 13:25

YANBu.

However, I wouldn't shre them with my kids, I'd eat them with my head in the lk8utchwn cupboard so they couldn't see me. I might leave them the "emergency" ones (orange/strawberry/coffee)

They cerytanly wouldn't get fudge/coconut/purple one/green traungle

Fuck, that's probably why I am fat

MmeHereWeGoAWassailLindt · 10/12/2008 13:31

We often have Mama and Papa sweeties that the DC are not allowed to eat. No way am I sharing my Godivas with children who are estatic when they are given a Fudge.

The only ones I liked when I was a kid were the toffee pennies. They were the only ones my bros liked too, so we had about one each, and then the adults scoffed everything else.

Icantbelieveitsnotbitter · 10/12/2008 13:33

Can I have the soft centres please !! Will miss Woolies Pick n Mix - softies by the KG !!

bellaBuonNatalevita · 10/12/2008 13:48

I have done the cupboard thing too and also looked for stuff in the utility with the door closed

MmeHereWeGoAWassailLindt · 10/12/2008 13:50

Ooh, just realized that our new house has a laundry room that I could use for secret choccy scoffing.

bellaBuonNatalevita · 10/12/2008 13:55

When do you move in Mme?

MmeHereWeGoAWassailLindt · 10/12/2008 14:00

We moved in already. I just had not thought of the choccy scoffing potential of the laundry room before.

bellaBuonNatalevita · 10/12/2008 14:04

just remember though to put your wrappings to the bottom of the bin!

ScottishMummy · 10/12/2008 14:06

well i would in particular the purple caramel thing, but fastdiously avoiding the green triangle

StretchmarkSantaClaws · 10/12/2008 14:08

mmmmmm love the green triangle!!

NomDePlume · 10/12/2008 14:09

There are no 'good chocs' in Quality Street.

duchesse · 10/12/2008 14:10

Utterly reasonable. Children actually like strawberry creams, for pete's sake. They clearly have no taste buds.
