grrr, I know that I am before you say anything but I need a teeny tiny rant, I often phone about my mortgage or other bank reated issues and just end up saying never mind ok thanks as I cant actually make out a word that is being said and the person on the other end doesnt understand me either. I end up feeling really rude and never ever find out what I want to know, I only want to klnow how much my mortgage payment is going to be this month, not the earth you wouldnt think.

YANBU - I wanted to make an appointment at the building soceity to talk to someone about our existing mortgage - impossible!! I was directed to their tollfree customer help line which made me lose the will to live ......

glad its not just me, I feel really guilty for feeling this way, even though I worked for said bank and was made redundant when my job was moved. I just really want to know how much my mortgage is going to be.
