please [please tell me if i am.

dh has just come in again saying he cant lengthen the straps on dd3 car seat. again. this happens every time he has to take her out. so i go out and do it straight away. its not hard, you press the button and pul lthe straps to loosen them.

he also cannot strap the car seats in correctly, or remove them without help from me.

i am getting fed up with it, and tbh i am worried about the safety aspect of him 'not being able' tp dp these simple things regareding the car seats.

and its not just a case of hi9m not being able to do them, but he gets really irate and then starts saying its the seats that are the problem, not him etc etc though i have never had a problem fitting car seats or strapping the kids in.

YANBU. He's being a bit lazy.

yanbu

he sounds like a knob when dealing with car seats

Mamazontopofsanta · 07/12/2008 13:20

he is taking advantage of teh fact your willing to do it for him.

show him once again and then next time tell him to figure it out alone.

StealthPolarBear · 07/12/2008 13:23

would he read the instructions rather than listen to you? DH is like this.
YANBU although my mum once asked me how to lengthen the straps having taken DS out loads of times. I presume he wasn't able to breathe when in the car with her!
