Well I think that listening to older music is a sign of intelligence and proper enthusiasm for good music. If the main factor influencing your choice of music to listen to is whether it's 'fashionable' or not then you have Van Gogh's ear for music and should be condemned to listen to nothing but X-factor winners forever.
