i watched this last night. i thought it was hilarious. i do love a bit of catholic mysticism. takes me right back to messing with ouiji boards at school and being hauled up infront the nuns for messing with the devil.

martin shaw is hilarious as a priest. i am not sure priests are allowed to smoulder in real life.

and i did like the symbology of the swimming pool! suble? why not just hit us over the head with an oversized bible.

I'm the same - it is utter rubbish really, but there's something compelling me to watch it every week ... and it scares the s*&% out of me at times too (even more so when dh is working late and I'm on my own!) Can't quite decide if I have a secret crush on Martin Shaw though. Trevor Eve, on the other hand ...
