Crap communication from the buyer, wanted to pick it up during the day , a bit tricky as I work , I suggested a day when I was off, they couldn't make it, they dont do evenings either !

They have sent an email saying they will call next week to arrange to pick it up , going into week 3 .

I have replied that I would like it picked up as soon as possible as it is two weeks since auction closed .

AIBU ?

No, YANBU. Have they paid for it?

snoringnightmare · 02/12/2008 19:41

No yanbu to want it gone but they have said they are going to call next week to arrange it. So presuming they've paid, you haven't really got much choice unless you refund and put it back up for sale which presumably you wouldn't want to do.

Deep breathes.

No its cash on collection, hence why I would like it picked up asap , so I can have the money ..

Give them another few days, email them that you can wait no longer then do a second offer or whatever it's called.

Give them a chance but if you have to chase them up again I would relist it.

CaptainUnderpants · 02/12/2008 20:37

They have had ' a chance ' I had to send them two emails before they initally contacted me , then I had a qucik phone call saying they wanted to collect that afternoon , I was in work at the time so couldn't. Said they would phone back they never did , but finally contacted me after another three emails !

Email them and say if you haven't collected by date then you have no alternative but to relist. Good luck
