watch MTV Westwoods top 10 rides, (something spotty teenage boys like to watch) when my vat is a day overdue. FFS, I'm a 33 year old woman.

I can't face writing the cheque. And Isn't Westwood a bit old to be acting like his from the hood?

..I'll be amazed if any of you watch it...I think the credit crunch is driving me over the edge.....

He's always been like that - hanging out with his homies when he's a middle class boy from Norwich who's dad was a Anglican bishop!

ps, don't blame you about the VAT, it's so horrible paying that money out isn't it?

tiredsville · 30/11/2008 16:58

Well that answers that question Sambi, he doesn't sound at all homie
Oh fuck, it is so horrible paying this sort of money out before christmas..

Would it make you feel any better if I told you I have to pay 21.5% VAT as of tomorrow [sigh]
and I'm supposed to go around the whole shop re-pricing everything [double sigh]

SAmbiClaus · 30/11/2008 17:08

21.5% ? I thought it had gone down, what do you sell?

tiredsville · 30/11/2008 17:10

Funny how I feel better so quickly when I know others are suffering, why thankyou KnickKnack

I'm just glad I only pay VAT yearly, and that we've had a monthly DD to pay most of it this year. Better than last year, when at 8 months pregnant and stressed we had to extend our business overdraft to pay the 10k VAT bill

So yes, and no. I feel your pain.

KnickKnack · 30/11/2008 18:12

SAmbi...i'm in Ireland. VAT has just gone up from 21 to 21.5%
As if recession is not bad enough
