To think it's really not difficult to indicate when driving? So why do people not bother?

When they teach you to drive, they tell you to indicate when your turning in and out of roads, on roundabouts, joining a carraigeway. So why is it people don't seem to bother indicating?

I was behind several different cars this morning who didn't bother to indicate at all the whole time i was behind them. I always think if you don't indicate it means you are not aware of anything that's going on around you because otherwise you would indicate? If you are aware but still don't bother then you shouldn't have a licence. It's not hard to indicate. Rant over.

I have been going down a duel carraigway before in the left lane signalling to pull out to the right lane to over take. Then just as i am pulling across, the car behind pulls out without indicating and i then tailgate me until i pull in, even though i am clearing overtaking cars!

My darling hubby's fav saying on this subject is " The indicators were optional extra's on that model that the owner didn't opt for!!".
I do alot of night time rural driving so find myself more often than not indicating to myself!!!
The not indicating at round abouts is my pet hate also!!

The worst type of driver errors are dangerous parking though. Just because there to lazy to find a car park they hold and interupt everyones life.
I found a car in the hedge up a quite lane last night... very odd place to park i thought. After i found the driver i just turned out he was going to fast round a wet bend. All were ok, which was just luck as they where only half a cars width from a huge tree. I think someone will be driving a bit slower for awhile, if there dad ever lets them in there car again!!!

Another hate is the miss use of hazard light! They seem to be used more and more to park where people like to say "i'm only gonna be 5 minutes" They don't care how much hassle they are causing, their take-away etc is more important.

I have seen people double park before to run in a newsagent for fags/newspaper before. But it's ok for them to double park you see because they have their hazards on

your right icing, i just found it my highway code. If one wants cig's one must always use hazard lights to indicat your a pain in one's backside.

It's because as soon as people get into their car, they cease to be a member of society and become the only inhabitant of the planet, thus meaning that there is no need to let anyone around you know what your plans are, because there is no one around you.

Not us lot obv

ditto for bastards oops i meant taxi drivers who think it's ok to sit their with hazards on and block a lane of traffic because they are waiting for a fair to come out of a pub.

Just picked dd up from nursery, i'm driving along, i indicate to go left and some stupid woman who was coming towards me on the other side of the road decided to turn right into the road i was going and she didn't indicate and she just cut in front of me!

I don't normally do but this was a beep of the horn moment. She pulled in down the road, i was going to stop and say something but i thought, no, she knows she has done wrong, i won't say anything. Not very classy to say abuse at someone in the street.

Oh mayo take that back about taxi drivers.
We only do it at night when no one can see us and we do go half on the pavement so you can squeeze past us if your a good driver!!! How else would we find our fares????

I saw a complete twit, stereotypical yummy mummy look in black monster 4x4 turn right at a roundabout while indicating left all the way around it.
