had her lap dog with her and was letting it sniff and drool on the bedding and rub itself up against the matresses - even if the bed's eventual owner isn't allergic to dogs, who wants stuff smelling of some one else's pet?

There is a time and a place for pets and department stores are not one of them!

I think there are more important things to worry about

like people who might be parking in your road etc

If I were spitting on the bedding there'd be outrage. Come to think of it there was a spitting thread recently (in the street) and people were outraged

well there were two shop assistants having a natter right behind her. And in order to get to that section she'd have had to walk right through the cosmetics stands on the ground floor, and then gone up the stairs/elevator to bedding
