Your dh needs to work harder. If he had made the right choices he could have been a billionaire by now. Tsk tsk.

honeybehappy · 26/11/2008 22:25

i'b be honoured if you'd let me do it for free1

Penthesileia · 26/11/2008 22:25

Poor you!

asif · 26/11/2008 22:27

I will (at a push) get rid of the cleaner, but the yacht's staying

Also, My wallet is too small for my fifties and my diamond shoes are too tight, can anyone advise?

TheCrackFox · 26/11/2008 22:27

I actually had to paint my own nails this week and it really is beyond the pale.

harpomarx · 26/11/2008 22:28

oh god, feeling your pain. A million goes nowhere these days...

asif · 26/11/2008 22:29

chirpy, I'm surprised at you

doesn't your butler carry the money?

{the shame you must feel}

OP posts:
janeite · 26/11/2008 22:29

It's dreadful, isn't it? One is finding it difficult enough to keep up with Tarquin's polo club membership and now Fifi's finishing school is requiring the money up front and even the butler seems to think that two shillings and sixpence a week is inadequate for his needs. I shudder to think WHERE the money for our annual hog roast for the hired help is going to come from this year.

Ivykaty44 · 26/11/2008 22:29

asif, I really can sympathis. I have been earning a hugh amount of money but have nothing to show for it as my d/h has been spending it on strip joints or is that stripers and joints. Then he ran off with the cleaner and left me holding the poddle - can you emagine the drama.......

can anyone come and help me spring clean my mansion of 42 rooms cos I am skint but have lots of booze

thumbwitch · 26/11/2008 22:29

tut, naughty! but anyway.

PhantomOfTheChocolateCakeAvena · 26/11/2008 22:31

Oh, I so agree. I have to give the staff Marks and Spencer hamers this year instead of Harrods ones. What is life coming to?

Ivykaty44 · 26/11/2008 22:31

Oh my have just seen a thread over there and some poor dear is having much the same trouble, only her poor d/h only earns 100k We must all go over and offer support

Portofino · 26/11/2008 22:32

Am I being unreasonable to think that I will have the p**s taken out of me at the school gates because my handbag is least one month out of date?

bollockbrain · 26/11/2008 22:32

Asif - i think you are going to cut down on the klosters vacay, just stick with the week in St Moritz and a long weekend in Verbier..

asif · 26/11/2008 22:32

but Ivy, should we mix with such commoners?

feel it is rather beneath me somewhat

FairLadyRantALot · 26/11/2008 22:34

wonder if you people experience occupational deprivation....because clearaly this money situation is impacting on your daily lifes...

TheSeriousOne · 26/11/2008 22:34

I guess one cleans one's own lav themselves.

How quite disturbing.

You should consider divorce.

Ivykaty44 · 26/11/2008 22:35

Oh yes asif - we may be able to get them to do the job of cleaning for a little extra

asif · 26/11/2008 22:37

well, if the butler won't I guess I'll have to ask the housekeeper

poor people have no idea the problems money brings, they should try to live with a millionaire for a day to see how THEY'D feel
