SIL and BIL kindly decided to give my boys their sons old football table.

I had been talking about getting them one for xmas........SIL said not to, she would give us theirs as it is not used anymore.

I said 'that would be lovely, give it them for xmas'.

oh no.....SIL and BIL needed it gone now (they are extending), and it came last night.

this morning I moaned about it as it was put up ready for them now instead of xmas as DH wanted to play, but I was not too cross as the boys were thrilled.

well, tonight I have changed my mind.....it is HELL>

sooooooooooooooooooooooo

can I smash it with an axe.....please.

pretty please

pretty pretty please

psychomum5 · 26/11/2008 19:51

it is LOUD

they are ALL fighting over it

they have stopped listening to me when I ask them to do stuff

and AND AND

DH is playing with it and not listening to me either

otherwise, they love it, and it is occupying them!

I got one for DSs a few christmases ago.

WE had a FANTASTIC time for weeks, all of us. It was brilliant. I was Champion of the Household for ages.

Now even DS2 beats me.

dinny · 26/11/2008 19:56

God, love ours, it's fab

countingto10 · 26/11/2008 19:57

Have you got it in a main room - I was planning to put DSs' in their bedroom ?

psychomum5 · 26/11/2008 19:58

this morning I agree it was pretty fab (apart from me going hoarse yelling at them to get ready for school).

tonight I am of a differing opinion, mainly because I can nw get no sense out of them while on it, and the noise of them yelling and banging etc.....

ah, yes, it is in the lounge.

that is the problem isn;t it.....

ours is in playroom, so maybe that's why it doesn't bother me noise-wise.....

Threadworrm · 26/11/2008 20:00

They are v noisy I agree.

Put slippers on the little men's feet.

Sounds brilliant to me. Go behind a closed door and read a book in peace (earplugs if necessary, or ipod should do it).

psychomum5 · 26/11/2008 20:17

threadworm.....LOL!!!

dinny.....we will be extending ourselves in the new year...it will be hiding in another room then I am thinking

nutty.......that sounds like a grand plan

Googly, I am MNing without comment from DH, so it is already proving somewhat useful.....no earplugs tho, which I sorely need!
