I'm sick of people who are fine one minute and then really off with you the next. I've just been almost blanked by someone who is supposed to be a friend but they didn't just not want to talk, they actually made a "oh" kind of noise when they saw me approaching as if to say "oh shit, here we go". What's the point in being so bloody mean about it?

Yes people have their off-days but AIBU to think that doesn't give them an excuse to act like arseholes towards people who have done nothing to them??

YANBU. I cant stand people like that! I hate it when i am at work and see people from the office out on the streets during lunch and they just blank you! So annoying!!

LouieStrumpet · 26/11/2008 15:55

My boss is like this - directly proportional to whether his grants have been approved.

YANBU - it's really hard work trying to judge what sort of mood people like this are going to be in.

I could have written this today. YANBU - I really DO NOT understand why people act like this - it does'nt take much to make a bit of effort even if you are in a very bad mood. I have been thinking today that lots of normally friendly people seem off and miserable - prehaps SAD???

Sometimes it isn't until I have looked away that I realise it was someone I knew so mayne they think I am being rude too. TBH I have so little to smaile about atm that I am out of practice. If it was me, sorry.

smile not smaile

Well, if hovering round the AIBU board for any length of time tells us anything, it is that people are very often very rude.

Yanbu. But there is undoubtedly more to it than meets the eye. You find it impossible not to take it personally, as you would, but more than likely it's just that someone is having the day from hell and didn't want to see anyone they knew at ALL, and they were rude and stupid, and are probably regretting it and feeling like a heel already.
