Him - has awful sciatica, in a lot of pain, has taken strong painkiller and now zonked on floor.

me - Had DS2 3 weeks ago on Wed, c-section

weather - chucking it down

school - opposite house

IABU aren't I - but if I go I'll have to take DS2!

If he has taken strong painkillers you may not actually be able to wake him, i dont know what sciatica is but if he is in terrible pain i would leave him, but do you feel ok to go yourself? can you ask a nieghbour to go for you?

If you have been doing it youself ok and not in too much pain yourself I'd go and leave him to sleep tbh

how old is dc at school. Is it literally across the road? Could someone just help him across the road and you stand at the door?

If he's knocked out on meds, let him sleep. When he wakes, hand over to him and go and have a kip/soak in the bath.
