... that a bus driver should stop after having been hailed clearly at a designated bus stop?

... that a second bus driver should stop at said bus stop so I did not have to walk myself and my autistic son screaming "we're too late!" to the next bus stop in the freezing cold?

... that my DS - or any other customer for that matter - should not have to hear one of the cooks in Morrisons shouting across the cafe to a colleague "now you're really taking the piss"?

... that, when merely asked what Morrisons customer services complaints procedure is, they should not describe any customer complaint as a "whinge"?

or is it just me?

trundles off for nice warm bath, back soon

I trust you asked before they had chance to spit in your coffee?

SoupDragon · 23/11/2008 13:19

(but no, you're not being unreasonable at all. Unless the bus stop had an "out of use" thingy on it)

OrmIrian · 23/11/2008 13:20

All very annoying. The 'taking the piss' comment wouldn't merit a complaint though.

CharCharGabor · 23/11/2008 13:21

yanbu, I wouldn't have bothered complaining though.

Ronaldinhio · 23/11/2008 13:27

yabu

doesn't merit any complaint but perhaps mild irritation and a hob nob?

juicyjolly · 23/11/2008 13:49

YANBU...Bus Dept should receive a complaint, I would be more angry about them driving past when you are trying to flag them down, not once but bloody twice!!

As for Morrisons staff...I would have said something to the staff myself, and to be honest, after the bloody bus 'episode', I would have bloody enjoyed it!!

Mumi · 23/11/2008 16:13

Haha, yes, I was wise enough to complain after finishing my coffee and customer complaints is in another part of the store anyway. The bus stop didn't have an "out of use" sign on it and I've managed to use it successfully recently and the rest of the time as well (I don't do AIBU by stealth ).

I just don't know what kind of person would drive past a mum and a 7 year old waiting for their bus in this weather, you know?

I did also wonder whether the P word warranted a complaint. DP doesn't think it's too hardcore and I definitely wouldn't have if it had just been a "bloody".

accepts hob nob with gratitude

I might write a complaint letter to WorstFirstBus though, as I still think that if they can't see not one but two people hailing the bus, they probably shouldn't be driving!

Just (another) one of those days I suppose...
