She's only one, he thinks it just nature's way. I think she might think burping is the hallmark of civilised adults.

to answer Q - Erm, well, if it bothers you it bothers you.

Personally, I wouldn't really care. Bodies make all manner of odd noises, and you can't always stop it, good manners would be to excuse yourself, it's a matter of personal choice whether immediate family require such formalities, or whether families should just feel free with each other, warts n all
