I have a M&S near me. I can send you what you need for postage if you want.

PhantomOfTheChocolateCakeAvena · 20/11/2008 23:07

Or you can pay for them, I'll collect them from my local store and send them on to you.

Candlewax · 20/11/2008 23:08

Ring them up in the morning! This happened to me and they were very happy to change it.

BoysAreLikeDogs · 20/11/2008 23:10

Oh phantom that is so sweet !

I wanted to take advantage of the 20 per cent thingy today.

So if I ring in the morning and cry explain, they'll help ??

Can you not cancel it and re-order?

Have a look at the confirmation e-mail they have sent you, I am sure if it has not got passed a certain stage you can cancel it.

BoysAreLikeDogs · 20/11/2008 23:18

Haven't actually placed the order, I get so far through the process then get to the final page, where you press the final 'go' button, so stop there and cry try to amend my account again. I think there is some kind of error, presumably because of the huge volume of orders done today.

Anyway I have sent a pleading email.

Thank you all

Can you try with a different browser eg firefox? Or - clear your cookies (tools, internet options, then click delete browsing history -it will also delete the history of all sites you have visited and it may mean you will have to log back on to sites eg mumsnet but it may reset the M&S site too

then again I am crap with computers........

BoysAreLikeDogs · 20/11/2008 23:33

Awww I have have no idea about any of that.

I shall await a reply from them and see if I can swing an extension of the 20 pecent just for me.

It could depend on where you live. There are some online shops who can't send my "normal post" if you live really far out in the sticks (normally it's the highlands & islands of Scotland, iirc).

Hope you managed to sort it out and get your order placed
