we have 2 dds, and i havent been too well lately. I have a heart issue which the doctors are looking into. Basicly it runs too quickly so am now on beta blockers which leave me feeling very tired. I have also developed some odd bowel issues since my gall bladder was removed last year and currently have a water infection. So as you can properly work out am feeling shitty.

DH has a cold and had D&S once on thursday. Can you see where i am going yet?....

Well of course DH cant do any housework, does as little as possible with the girls (wouldnt even help me bath them the other night) and spends hours moaning how friggin unwell he is. Oh and im working too.
I have had it with him, last night he managed to get enough engry to get to the sauna at the gym but moaned when i asked him to iron babies clothes for today

His not normally like this, well not this bad anyways. Im not sure if im just more mad at him because im so tired, or if i should even say anything, but just kick him

his just taken himself off to bed ...

take yourself off to bed too

BetteNoire · 18/11/2008 20:04

He's not being at all fair, is he?
Sorry to hear you're feeling so poorly.
Maybe you need to chill out a bit whilst you're both feeling under the weather though - don't worry about ironing baby clothes for now.

which i could but lunches and uniform not ready for tomorrow. and he keeps coughing and waking me

I would yell personally and let him know that this is not on. I would however sit and be calm downstairs for a while cause if you are like me and you take your self off to bed while feeling like this with him you will suffocate him with the pillow lol. If you are anything like me you will not want to be near him just now for fear of killing him. I wouldnt do anything 'housey' tonight just sit with the remote and watch crap then have a word in the morning

lisad123 · 18/11/2008 20:07

yes singy you sound like you know me!

I somtimes think my life would be much simpler and would not have to do as much cleaning if he buggered off!!!

Am i a bad person??!!

AnguaVonUberwald · 19/11/2008 11:16

I agree with you totally, but would suggest not ironing baby's clothes at all!

Norksinmywaistband · 19/11/2008 11:22

AAARRRGGGHH Men who are ill, should be taken away, put in a hostel until recovered, then return and take over fully from us for a day to allow us a break.

DH and I have the same bug as do DC. But he has not moved from bed today, I have still had to look after DC, do some housework etc. Why do we never get to be sick.

Sorry rant over, just letting you know you are not alone

My poor dh has a sore throat. My heart is bleeding. Bloody men and their ailments.
