He's just come home after a demotion for not hitting a target he has until the end of December to reach!!! It means his salary is cut by half and (I know noone will sympathise) but our children will have to leave their school. (We tried state schools but they are really shit where I live) It may also mean we sell our house and move area.
He was told 3 weeks ago that he needed 10% growth by January and they demoted him today affective as of Monday....completely illegal and it's money making time in the office up until Christmas and so his replacement will make the cash.
I'm so gutted and I know there are many worse off than us, but I would love to roll my car over his boss.

Don't blame you at all. If fact may join you soon I go back to work in jan, let's hope my team is still number 1!!!

YANBU, You must both be gutted. You are right is does seem extremely unfair that the boss has taken this action before the target deadline. Having your Dh salary cut by half nust be devestating. I am sorry I don,t have any advice but feel for you both and your DC.

Blinglovin · 14/11/2008 16:41

I'm sure that's illegal. An HR specialist will come along soon, I'm sure! So sorry for you. This sounds entirely unfair.

crazymummy84 · 14/11/2008 16:41
