To want heating instructions on food written in big obvious writing

HEAT AT 180o FOR 25 MINUTES
I do not want serving suggestion, ingredients [well yes but somewhere else], company history, 'funny' bits of text, ads for other products etc So that i do not have to turn box over 12 times to find teeny, tiny cooking instructions. Aah rant out.

I'm with you, particularly with the "serving suggestions". A lot of the time the "serving suggestion" is putting it on a plate Gee thanks, might not have thought of that by myself.

With parsley

Well you wouldn't have this problem if you cooked proper food from scratch instead of buying rubbishy pre-prepared stuff that's full of crap. I wouldn't feed it to a dog let alone a member of my family!

TheFallenMadonna · 07/11/2008 21:25

So that's you told then pushchair!

theinsider · 07/11/2008 21:26

Don't be so snotty wonderwoman. Pork chops will have a picture of grilled pork chops on a plate, a raw chicken will appear roast on a plate with nothing else . And that's a "serving suggestion".

wonderwoman73 · 07/11/2008 21:31

"snotty" that's fabulous! I love a retro insult, I feel all 1970s

pushchair · 07/11/2008 21:33

Surely fishfingers acceptable even on MN?

Pushchair, I thought the same thing the other day "it's got to be on here somewhere!!"

...and I'm out of practice since I normally only eat raw organic turnip

MsPontipine · 07/11/2008 22:25

They have to label it serving suggestion - otherwise, I believe, customers are justified in their complaints when they find the parsley, chips, peas, plate, knife, fork, table cloth in the picture are not actually in the packet.
