of charities to stand outside supermarkets waving 'comics' at little children and their charity tins in parents faces. Needless to say dd had a 'comic' and had the enjoyment of placing money in the tim.

dgmw, i'm all for charities and pay a fair amount to them each month by DD but I kind of object to this but was too embarrassed to say no.

Annoying.

psychomum5 · 07/11/2008 15:33

so much for charity if they have to pay for a comic to encourage people to support them!

DelGirl · 07/11/2008 15:33

I dunno but bold as brass in dd's face who is only 3. DD said, you are very kind . Yeah, isn't she lol! Sorry, sounding bitter but I do think it's a bit off, maybe someone doesn't have spare change to pay into the charity box?

It is a bit rude but I suppose the credit crunch is hitting us all- even charities. Would have caved too!
