fuck her.paint her room some disusting colour then subtley try to blind he kid with eye-liner. then she'll notice you

psychomum5 · 07/11/2008 14:19

lol

I would just continue as you are my love, your aunt clearly has a few issues and your bounciness might just cheer her up.

sadly some adults can forget very quickly what it is like to be 14 and enthusiastic about life.........don;t fret, she will come about.

why not offer to help paint her house, a new paint job always cheers people up.

Don't worry, she has unresolved issues with your mum and her own inferiority complex.

Have you tried talking about Emmerdale when she discusses Eastenders? This may help too.

complicated · 07/11/2008 14:29

And people accuse ME of being immature?

skyblu · 07/11/2008 14:33

Gosh

This is quite nasty

Starting a piss-taking thread out of someone else's opinion/feelings

Whether you agree or disagree, state your opinions/commenst on her original posting....but don't start a piss-taking thread about it

??!!

DontlookatmeImshy · 07/11/2008 14:35

Complicated - This is just the normal banter on MN.

Someone will post a thread like "Some cow in Asda shouted at my dd today"

THen some-one will start a thread called "I told someones dd off in Asda today because they were "

Don't take it personally.

southeastastra · 07/11/2008 14:36

how can she not take it personally? it's NOT normal banter ime

more · 07/11/2008 14:37

Wow I don't agree with Complicated's point of view but this is seriously playground material.

skyblu · 07/11/2008 14:39

Agree completely more

cheshirekitty · 07/11/2008 14:41

Cheshirekitty hangs her head in shame. Sorry complicated.

GColdtimer · 07/11/2008 14:41

sorry cheshirekitty, cross posts.

DontlookatmeImshy · 07/11/2008 14:44

No, actually you are right. This isn't like the banter i meant.

Consider myself thoroughly told off.

skyblu · 07/11/2008 14:44

Cheshirekitty

I think that's pretty good of you to come back and offer an apology to Complicated

You go back up in my book

ShowOfHands · 07/11/2008 14:46

I will hang my head in shame too Complicated.

I did, however, think that the playground-like/immature thread was pseudo-ironic in light of the original thread involving analysis of the psyche of a 14yr old, somebody immature by default.

But I read too much into it. DH is right, I mn too much.

And I apologise.
