just go and put your matching ultimo knickers on twinset and you will be fabulous and almost decent!

Liffey · 06/11/2008 21:53

There are some nasty posts about the last few days. But people are being nasty under the cloak on anonymity.

It's not great though. All the unhappy people being nasty and people using up their emotional resources defending themselves.

I sometimes wonder why it appears to have more than its fair share of stroppy fuckers ready to put the boot in for their own entertainment.

When I posted more I grew a harder skin. But now as a light user I may have lost it again.

Saturn74 · 06/11/2008 21:55

Is Mumsnet an actual person then?

Ronaldinhio · 06/11/2008 21:56

mmm my dh thinks that "mumsnet" sounds like an evil network akin to a bunch of beautiful bond baddies

like that idea

southeastastra · 06/11/2008 22:17

mumsnetnet is, i fear, eating itself

Neenztwinz · 06/11/2008 22:25

why?

Ronaldinhio · 06/11/2008 22:27

do you not recognise me in my floor length skintight dress standing beside Daniel Craig at a card table?

MadCreamLady · 06/11/2008 22:29

i have to say, i totally agree - It fries your head i tell ya, having argued on a thread this AM, i consequently went out and got into quite an altercation over a pot of elmlea and a second hand coat!!!

I have been thinking for a while that the whole Mnet thing is a bit like a cross between the films "halloween III" and "needful things", you know the halloween with the pumpkin heads that turned the children into demented killers? And the old guy in Castle Rock who turned everyone against each other - i think we are being brainwashed by the smileys

crazymummy84 · 06/11/2008 22:33

Yep Ive decided Mumsnet is Pure EVIL.
