to think that the Ross/Brand/Georgina doc on C5 is ludicrously biased?

Those cheeky chappies, huh? What are they like?!!

And that slut Georgina, jeezum, she was totally to blame, because AFTER THEY'D TOLD THE WORLD IN GENERAL, AND HER GRANDFATHER IN PARTICULAR, she tried to claw back some control, and make some money out of it.

They are clearly psychic - it totally justifies what they did, no?

And the fact that the first Black president was about to be elected means that we should all have just ignored this gross invasion of a young woman's privacy. Gah.

If I sound a little, erm, ranty, that's because I am feeling a little ranty.

god it's awful, she's awful

onebatmother · 05/11/2008 23:04

why is she awful SEA? She's 25. That's what 25 year olds (of her background) are like. Annoying. Not awful.

In any case, however awful she is, she still has the same rights as you do with regards to the broadcasting of your sexual history to the nation.

Sorry, I'm boringly repeating the earlier threads, when in fact what has angered me is the entirely predictable bias of the programme.

Poor bloody girl, I thought she was admirably restrained. The voiceover was ludicrously carry-on, and undermined her at every op.

she's a right tart!

i resent her for taking jr away from the bbc. she will milk the story then disappear for the boring person she is hopefully

onebatmother · 05/11/2008 23:24

oh you silly, silly woman.

She didn\t take JR from the BBC. The BBC did, in response to his own freaking choice to tell the world whom she\s slept with.

"she will be famous and probably get a show on mtv for a year" Ah, so that's alright then.

Dittany, you're right. I thought the soundbites chosen were actually pretty balanced. But the V/o quite definitely wasn't, and that will have been decided under close consultation with the the commissioning editor. So the programme, as a whole, had a deliberate 'what a ludicrous fuss about a promiscuous girlie' editorial direction - regardless of what the production team initially intended.
