dear lord its like the worst mix of retro/bunting cupcake/over priced nonsense you can get?

Cath Kidston and Orla Kiely are squatting in every floor of John Lewis (which is our only walking distance department store, before I get flamed).

Exhaustingly mind numbing repetition of motifs at ridiculous prices

A lot of it is stuff I'd love to have time to make my own version of, but other things get in the way. Don't see the point in buying it though.

I do quite like the fabrics though (but scarily expensive)

I really dislike Cath Kidston designs, the fabric patterns more than the stuff being sold.

I do a lot of crafty stuff, and Cath Kidston stuff is hugely popular amongst crafty people and I'm dreading that one day someone will think "Tyler likes crafty things she'll love Cath Kidston." Mind, I suspect it's fairly easy to sell on

I love it, but am aware of this flaw in my character and try to keep it under control.

I adore floral bunting and cake stands but only really fully indulge this once a year or so when having a summer party and then I let my inner 'jam jars with gingham ribbons for vases' inner self run free.

The only thing I really like are the big wallets with the zip right the way round them. I've just bought this one because they hold all your crap in and nothing seeps out the sides. Have never found a better purse.

Everything else is overpriced and too fancy-pants.

It is the epitome of 'safe' and actually ends up looking boring and a bit twee, i cant stand it.
