Work Mon to Thurs. Friday is my cleaning and go swimming day. Have cleaned my flat from top to bottom. Looks really nice.

AIBU to expect my dh and dd not to touch anything, breathe on anything etc. At least for a few hours???

(OK know IABU but wanted to ask anyway).

I know what you mean dd's are in bed by 7pm i tidyup all the mess toys and within 5mins of dh being in the house is a mess with his trail of bits and bobs he leaves behind him.

Try covering everything in cling film

You know YABU but I don't blame you. I always feel the same, the house looks fab then DH and DC's turn up and every surface seems to immediately get covered with something.

YANBU.

You are being totally unrealistic sadly.

It's heart-breaking isn't it. I can almost hear the house taking a deep breath when the DC get back from school
