who was complaining that her new contact lenses had a big smudge on one lens, only to discover that she didn't actually have one in that eye at all?

I've done that.

I've also woken up in the morning to think, "It's a miracle! I'm cured! I can see!" Only to realise I've managed to fall asleep in my lenses.

I went to sleep in mine once on the first night of a holiday. I didn't notice when I woke up because I was so hungover and just bunged another pair on top.

Spent the next ten minutes freaking out, shrieking, "I've drunk myself blind!". Was very when I realised what I'd done but my mates had a good laugh.

I have tried to take my glasses off and then realised that I was not wearing them as I had the contacts in
