walk to party 5 mins away so you can have a few wines but risk getting yourself and dc soaked if it rains (very likley)

be sensible and take the car and sit with a coke?

Wellies, brollies & wine

67Impala · 30/10/2008 15:14

You could drive there, see how it goes, then you have the option of either walking back or driving.

ScareyBitchFeast · 30/10/2008 15:15

walk with water proof trousers, jackets and an umbrella
5 minutes isnt far

solidgoldskullonastick · 30/10/2008 15:16

Walk but then we are car free and walk everywhere anyway. DC tend to like walking in rain as long as they have wellies and raincoats.

elkiedee · 30/10/2008 15:17

Walk with brollies and anything else that will protect you. How old are dcs?

mustdripgore · 30/10/2008 15:20

Omg, you would seriously drive somewhere 5 mins away?

kerryk · 30/10/2008 15:24

omg i seriously would!!

kids are 4&6.

usually we walk 3 miles everyday so i am not just being lazy.

it is through a very dark bit with flimsy halloween contumes on, will be doing it with another adult though so it should not be to scary.

Freckle · 30/10/2008 17:38

I have been known to walk through torrential rain/snow for more than 5 minutes so that I can have a drink. Does that make me stupid, sensible or just an alcoholic??

Seriously, if it's a party with lots of children, you'll need the wine .

SalLikesCoffee · 30/10/2008 17:45

@ MSTG

I'd walk.

pamelat · 30/10/2008 18:39

Horntail · 30/10/2008 18:41
