He does not have any particular qualifications ect he is just a general worker and in the past has done jobs which range from working in a bank to maintaining gardens to packing boxes in a factory.
His contract with a company recently came to an end but rather than looking for a job before this happend he just ignored it. He now has no job and is insisting that because of the current economical problems there is no work going which IMO is poppy cock.
I even went and looked for him and found at least a douzen jobs that would be suitable for him. For example all the shops are taking on xmas staff so he could do that. He came up with a pathetic reason why each of the jobs wasnt right for him and took no further action. He tells me he is looking for a job but is finding this difficult. The problem is that whilst he is out of work I am recieveing no money for the children and am actually starting to struggle financially and I feel that if he were being responsible and thinking of our sons he would go out and get any job so that he could provide for them. At the end of the day money is money and he could continue looking for a more suitable job whilst earning some money.

Not really. I already work full time. One of the reasons he wouldnt take a job in tesco was that he didnt like the uniform! Another was that he refused to be payed minimum wage. Neither of these have been issues in the past and it really winds me up the his behaviour is selfish and is effecting his kids. I coulnt afford ds1 school trip last week and he was the only one not going. My mum paid for it in the end. But I cant expect her to do this all the time!
